DEVELOPMENT FOR INDUSTRY

WATERBORNE PAINTS

IN CAN PRESERVATIVE : Waterborne paints are susceptible to microbial attack. Antimicrobials kill or slow the spread of microorganisms which include bacteria, viruses, algae, fungi etc. Waterborne paints require antimicrobials as a form of IN CAN preservatives for conservation to stop product spoilage inside the container prior to use.
DRY FILM PRESERVATIVE : Moisture, temperature, sunlight accelerate the growth of fungi and algea leading to visible material destruction on painted wall surface. To combat such problem, DRY FILM preservatives are added in waterborne paint formulation which protect surfaces from deterioration.

PLYWOOD

ANTIMICROBIAL : Under humid condition, plywood surfaces get microbes, especially fungus affected. Antimicrobial treatment is required in order to protect plywood surfaces from microbial spoilage.
FIRE RETARDANT : Fire retardants play most important role to reduce devastating effect of fire mishaps on people, property and the environment. Introduction of environmentally acceptable fire retardant is of utmost importance for plywood industry.
COLOURING : Imparting different colour shades to the plywood surfaces are always inquired for aesthetic purpose. It was not a big challenge to generate coloured plywood surfaces with eye soothing shades. Real challenge comes when core veneer of a plywood needs to be coloured and colouring material to be penetrated through the veneer. Particular condition and chemistry are required in order to get materials pass through cellulose fibers of veneer.
BLEACHING : In decorative plywood, face veneers are used on the top surfaces. These face veneers contribute largely on aesthetic look and physical properties of the finished ply items. Some of these veneers come with inherent dark shade. Proper bleaching agent is important to make shades brighter keeping physical property of face veneers unchanged.

LEATHER

ANTIFUNGAL : Leather items are prone to fungal attack. Every year tanneries around the world invest millions of dollars to protect their leather against fungal growth. Mold especially grows on leather if the leather item is stored in a damp place. To prevent mold from growing on leather, introduction of proper fungicide is important.
WHITENING : Titanium dioxide is used as to whiten leather in tanneries. Gloves made from such leather faces leaching problem. Those who use such gloves for longer time, find white particles on hand after removing the gloves. Thus, proper whitening agent must be used in tanneries, especially for gloving leather.

FIBERBOARD

ANTIMICROBIAL : Wood fibers are mixed with resin to form a composite mixture which is turned into panels of varied size and shape by applying high temperature and pressure. In order to protect fiberboards from microbial attack, biocides are added during the manufacturing process.
FIRE RETARDANT :Identifying proper additive is always important in this sector. Fiberboard is a particular sector where resin plays a crucial role. Thus, fire retardtant used in this sector must be compatible to resin.

ANIMAL NUTRITION

DIETARY SUPPLIMENT :Aquatic animals require feed supplements for their growth. Solid supplements, available in market yields incomplete absorption in body due to restricted solubility. A large portion of materials aren’t utilized in nutrition. On the other hand, livestock feed, such as poultry feed and cattle feed require proper supplements for balanced diet and weight gain. In order to get maximum feed conversion ratio (FCR), customized product should be introduced in all these fields.

AGROCHEMICAL

NANOPRODUCTS :Nanosuspension of silver is used as antimicrobial in agrochemical industry. Moreover, other nanoparticle-based compositions are used as micronutrients and growth promoter in agriculture.

HOME CARE

Home care products like phenyl, sanitizer, floor cleaner, liquid detergent, glass cleaners are widely used in daily use.
